Which Car Matches Your Zodiac Sign

The stars can tell us who to date and how to live; why not what to drive? Join us for a look at astrology’s take on the car that suits you best.

For the self-absorbed Aries, making a strong impression is always high on the radar. Natural leaders that they are, a strong vehicle that oozes confidence will suit their personality.

What fits better than the Hummer for an Aries? Its mammoth size, together with its sturdy design, fits their personality like an armored glove.

Taureans are defined by their love for stability, security and comfort. They will always place great significance on solid performance over flashy exteriors.

With a pleasing exterior, spacious interior, and top-class performance, the Ford Fusion is an excellent choice for a Taurean.

Geminis are driven by spontaneity. Often they tend to overlook the finer details and take a whimsical decision.

To match their personality, the Chevrolet Corvette is a safe bet. While its fittings may fall short compared to other luxury cars, the outrageous design is an eye-catcher.

Homebodies by nature, Cancerians love to be surrounded by their family and friends. While they take comfort in security, they need the occasional bit of excitement to fuel their soul.

A dream car for the Cancerean, the Audi A4 Avant is well-equipped in terms of both security and performance. Its spacious design can comfortably accommodate five.

For the passionate Leo, it’s all about being the center of attention. Their personality almost always attracts them to the flashiest and most expensive things in life, no matter the cost.

Nothing but the flamboyant Lamborghini (the specific model is a matter of personal taste) will do justice to the Leo. Packed with a monster of an engine and an equally stylish exterior, all eyes will solely be on it — just the way Leo likes it.

Blessed with an analytical bent of mind, Virgos can get too detail-oriented at times. They are not considered perfectionists without reason.

For the fussy Virgos, no car other than the Lexus LS can truly satisfy them. While it may not stand out like a Lamborghini, it bears a touch of sophistication with excellent features.

Librans place great significance on balance and aesthetics in life. They have an accommodating nature, and are ready to compromise for the greater good.

The Chrysler Town & Country mini-van is a delight for Librans. Its rotating seats allow for varied seating arrangements: perfect for the balance-loving Libran.

This intensely powerful sign of the zodiac likes to maintain a sense of mystery. Underneath the calm demeanor of a Scorpio lies a passionate persona.

The Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is a perfect match for a Scorpio. While it features a low-profile hatchback design on the exterior, the car is packed with a powerful engine underneath its hood.

The spontaneous and free-spirited Sagittarius takes life as it comes. Driven by optimism, traveling and friends reign supreme in their lives.

What better than a sporty convertible such as the Saturn Sky for the Sagittarius? It is sassy, quick and simply put, fun to drive around.

Capricorns are characterized by their practical, hardworking nature. Goal-oriented, they never shy away from putting in extra hours to get the desired results.

A car befitting the grounded Capricorn is definitely the Toyota Tacoma. Its rugged design, off-road strengths and payload capacities are ideal.

Aquarians love to stay away from the tried-and-tested ways. Their eccentric nature leads them to tread on atypical paths and come up with wacky solutions.

Celebrating an Aquarian’s uniqueness perfectly, the Smart ForTwo car is an ideal choice. A compact vehicle with a peculiar design, it can make its way easily and leave its mark wherever it travels to.

A sense of dreaminess usually surrounds a Piscean. They are known to procrastinate with real-life issues and indulge in their daydreams.

The battery-operated Chevrolet Volt looks like a perfect vehicle for the Pisceans. This hybrid car is fitted with the latest features, along with providing a solution to control environmental woes of the future.

French Car Ban Makes History: For one day there will be no Trafic in Paris

Imagine any big city anywhere in the world without traffic just for a day. Now, if that city were Paris, imagine further the photographic possibilities, not to mention the visual, auditory and olfactory potential.

Imagine no more because on September 27th, that’s just what Paris is going to do: “Une Journée Sans Voiture” – A Day Without Car, for the first time in the city’s history.

City Hall calls it “a crazy gamble, but achievable.” No motorized vehicle, with a few exceptions like ambulances, will be allowed to drive the streets. As Mayor Anne Hidalgo announced in March: “Paris will be completely transformed for a day. This is an opportunity for Parisians and tourists to enjoy the city without noise, pollution and therefore without stress.”

Paris Without Cars

According to the city’s program for the day “All the most popular tourist spots, usually crowded, will be fully dedicated to pedestrians who will be able to discover a new Paris.”

The areas without traffic include the 1st, 2nd, 3th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10thand 11th arrondissements (neighborhoods), the Champs Élysées, Place Stalingrad, Place de la Republique, the Left Bank, the Place de la Bastille, the area around the Eiffel Tower and the Bois de Vincennes and Boulogne.

The Day Without Car is part of the city’s campaign against pollution and is in line with the European Mobility Week that will take place in Paris from September 16 to 22 as well as the major United Nations conference on the climate (COP 21) also in Paris in late November.

Soviet ZAZ Super Car

Soviet car Zaporozhets or “ZAZ” – short for Zaparozhye Auto Zavod (zavod=plant) was a cult Soviet car. Cult in terms that it was hated by everyone because it was small, noisy, but same time strange looking and two door coupe. It was considered car of old people because they were given those cars for free, also people were getting them because they were the cheapest available on the market. They were air cooled, so sometimes they couldn’t climb up to a steep hill. Some kids were so embarrassed that their parents got the ZAZ so they were hiding on the backseat when on the trip around the city, lying down on the backseat sofa so that their classmates didn’t see them.

But not anymore! This guy from Ukraine, from the place near where those cars were originally assembled has built his version of Zaporozhets on base of the old car and it’s a real head turner! See inside the process and the final result:

Here is the guy and his original ZAZ. He already was not satisfied with its look and all the shameful hype around it so he first just tried to tune it up with standard methods available on the market – new cool paint, sticker on a windshield, tinted windows and cool rims. But it was not enough!

This Couple Teamed Up And Created a Truly Amazing Custom Car. With Sharpie.

When this member of the US Military bought his new car, he unfortunately realized he had made a mistake. He loved the 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR, but he was less than pleased with its silver color. Instead of taking it to a shop for a simple paint job, he let his artist wife take over.

He worked on tuning up the car’s insides, and she worked on the outside. Her medium was unconventional–a Sharpie–but she used it to create a series of intricate, swirling designs over the car’s surface. It started out as a simple doodle over some scratches on the front fender. The owner was planning on getting a professional repaint at the time, so figured there was no problem in letting his wife make a quick drawing. As he describes on a forum for Nissan Infiniti owners, he was working on the car’s insides at the time. Some 15 hours later, the front bumper was covered in the fluid, organic designs and he realized he had to rethink his paint plan. “15 hours went into the front bumper all of a sudden and we felt an indebtedness to it,” he explains.

Now with over 100 hours of decorative work (and plenty more of tune-up and customization work on other areas of the car), it’s complete, and the Sharpie designs are here to stay. They were sealed with a clear protective coat, and, because of the laborious nature and the originality, the designs were even insured.

The finished product, with over 100 hours of work on the designs alone.

It seems like they make a fantastic team! Maybe this is the start of a new trend in car design? Just make sure you have a plan before you take a Sharpie to any of your vehicles!
